It's been a really long time since I last posted a journal on my DA, but I wish this could be under better circumstances, because something just came up this morning that's fueling me with frustration. To start things off, back in 2022, I took part in a fun art challenge known as DinOctober, where I, and a couple of good friends, took some chosen dinosaurs, anthropomorphized them, and drew them doing occupations of our choice (for example, I did a Triceratops as a football player and a Stygimoloch as a swordsman fighter to name a couple). It was a fun challenge, and it allowed for some interesting and creative ideas...but then at some point after the challenge was done, 2023 in fact, someone came in and started pestering me about one of his desired choices not being included. His name is xXInfernoRodanXx, and he started bothering me about why I didn't include a soccer player in my roster. He kept bugging me about it more and more, and even tagged me in one of his

For the past two years, from 2020 to 2021, it's been a rough ride, trying to cope with all the crazy madness happening. One of the things that I especially had trouble with was the lack of going to fan conventions to share my love and passion for my interests, and forming connections with others with similar passions. This was especially evident with my love for "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic", and how I've gone to some pony conventions over the years. Sadly, during 2020-21, because of the pandemic and some other things going on, those plans were put on hold for a really long time. But now, as of mid April 2022, that void of missing the MLP conventions is no more, because this past weekend, BABSCon was returning to San Francisco, and I travelled there to experience the convention once again. Ten years ago, things were very different for me. At that point, I was in High School, ready to start my senior year, and think about what would come next in my life, which was tough as it was . However, by that time, the Internet had been of help of providing some sanctuary from the real world, with its websites like YouTube, Facebook and DeviantArt, all of which I still use today. Even with that though, I still felt alone since I didn't have many friends or communities to go to. While the High School's anime club was a nice group to be a part of, there was still a desire for more. I longed to be a part of a community where I could feel welcome and not feel like I was an outsider.
